Big Win for Canada Women over Brazil
Canada - Women

Canada Women got off to an impressive start during the Hong Kong leg of the Women's Challenge Cup. The current Cup holders downed Brazil 45-0 in their opening match.

Canada ran out to a 31-0 lead before making subs and adding another two tries in the second stanza. Ashley Steacy led all point scorers with 15 points on a try and five conversions, while Mandy Marchak and Ghislaine Landry ran in a brace of tries each. Jen Kish and Brittany Waters also dotted down.

Canada will play Russia in the final pool play match of the day, and if they're victorious, they'll move onto the Cup semifinals against the winner of pool B, likely England.
