Canada Makes Women's Final
Canada - Women

Canada is comfortably into the USA 7s Women's International 7s after beating France 21-12.

The game wasn't quite that close, as the Canadians took an early lead and never looked back.

Canada used the boot to get started, kicking to the corner. They gave up the lineout throw, but obviously were confident they could compete in that aspect of play, and they were right - they stole the lineout and were in up the middle.

Physical Canadian defense pounded the French and forced turnovers. They turned that into another try in the first half, and then, after a French try, their third put the game away.

Canada was not flashy, but they hit very hard and were quite content to play defense in the oppositiion half.

Canada faces the USA in Sunday's final in Sam Boyd Stadium.
