Vassar Women Defeat Quinnipiac
Colleges - Women's College

The Vassar women defeated Quinnipiac 38-5 Saturday, with flanker Nicole Guerrero and scrumhalf Margaret Kwateng both notching two tries.

Vassar got some impressive work from freshman Emma Redden and their backs ran aggressively. Their opening try came from Kwateng on a quick tap.

The Vassar forwards had gained good yards with straight running and put the varsity Quinnipiac program under pressure. Guerrero was outstanding, and deserved her tries.

It was a good win, said Head Coach Tony Brown, but the Vassar Women still have a lot of work to do if they are to make the playoffs. They face Marist next week.
