Berkeley, Calif – The Berkeley All Blues announced Thursday that Kathy Flores will be returning as Head Coach for the 2011 Women’s Premier League season.

Flores coached the All Blues from 1994 to 2007 and led the team to 11 National Championships.  She stepped down to focus on her duties as USA Women’s National Team Head Coach, which she coached from 2003 through 2010, including two World Cups.

"I am excited to be working with the All Blues again," said Flores. "There has been quite the change of players since I was last working with the team, and I am looking forward to the opportunity to get everyone working together.”

Flores will be working closely with her new Assistant Coach, former MIT Women’s Head Coach and Beantown Assistant Coach, Brandon Sparks.  Alex Williams, former All Blue Head Coach and Women’s National Team Assistant Coach, will be on staff as a forwards technical coach.
