Women's Premier League newcomer San Diego posted the biggest score of the weekend in its 81-7 victory over visiting Minnesota Valkyries. So it's no surprise that a Surfer heads the points leader board. Emilie Bydwell, who relocated from Beantown this year, racked up six tries in San Diego's home opener. Wings Kristy Lear and Casey Fields dotted down two tries apiece, and Kirstin Hartos' league-tying nine conversions put four Surfers into the top 10 point scorers.

In Berkeley's 72-10 win over Keystone, the All Blues spread their points around. Jamie Schukle scored 21 of her 27 points on Sunday, running in two five-pointers and converting four first-half tries. Kelly Griffin, Phoebe Boone and Vix Folayan added two tries apiece as well.

Beantown's 50-0 shutout over visiting DC Furies saw fullback Katie Dowty join the leader board, and she debuted in the #4 spot after a four-try performance. Twin Cities round out the week-two winners, as the Amazons celebrated a 37-5 victory over New York. Rebecca Radtke's foot has kept the flyhalf high on the points scored list, and her three conversions and two penalties against New York put her six points behind Bydwell.

There's a league-wide bye this weekend, but when the teams resume play, some more even matches should ensue. Tied for first in the Red Conference, Twin Cities and San Diego will go head to head and attempt to snap each other's undefeated streak. Looking for their first wins, Minnesota Valkyries will travel to New York. In the Blue Conference, Beantown will hit the road and take on league leader Berkeley, while Keystone takes a short trip south to play the winless DC Furies.
