Kids from high school rugby programs around Oregon attended a CRCP (www.rugbyrecruiting.com) combine this past weekend to show off their skills and meet with college coaches.
Players are tested in athletic measurements - speed, explosiveness, endurance - and also in rugby-specific skills such as passing, catching, decision-making and tackling.
That information is kept in a data base for the players to use in reaching out to colleges, and for colleges to use in assessing rugby talent.
