Small Colleges Announe Qualifying for National 7s Event |

The National Small College Rugby Organization will hold its inaugural Small College National Rugby 7s Championship concurrently with the USA 7s Collegiate Rugby Championship June 1-2 in Philadelphia, Pa.
Member teams of a Conference/Union league that participates in the NSCRO 15s competition, are invited to qualify.
the tournament will consist of 8 teams in two pools of 4. Teams will play three pool matches on Day 1 and knockout rounds on Day 2.
Pool Matches will be held outside PPL Park, with the semis and final to be held inside PPL Park and will be part of NBC's coverage of the event.
The NSCRO will hold eight regional qualifying tournaments in April and May. Over 80 small colleges have the opportunity to qualify. NSCRO has appointed Howard Kent as the NSCRO 7s Commissioner and established the 7s National Championship Committee. Kent is the current President and Director of the Denver Sevens Rugby Tournament.
Along with Kent, Mark Hanrahan, Director of Rugby Operations - Franciscan Univ. RFC, Todd Streeter, NSCRO VP of Competitions and Head Coach of Wisconsin-Parkside, and Steve Hiatt, Head Coach, California Maritime Academy RFC.
