Palefau to Suit Up for OPSB

After losing Isimeli Daveta to a broken collarbone, Old Puget Sound Beach has picked up USA 7s player Mike Palefau to play fullback for them.

Palefau, who first came to prominence playing for the Pacific Coast Grizzlies when he was a football player at Southern Utah, played for the Utah Warriors last season.

However, with the Warriors essentially defunct for at least a season, Palefau never registered with that club. Back from his stint with the USA 7s team in Hong Kong and Tokyo, and with the new Utah club, the Brothers, apparently now officially denied a shot at any national club playoffs, Palefau needed a team to play for.

The match seemed logical, and Palefau will suit up for OPSB this weekend against San Francisco Golden Gate.
