Rugby life is not over for the Utah Warriors, but the next couple of weeks are crucial for the organization.

With Super League president Sean Kelly saying there is no magic spell that could somehow put the Warriors back in the league, it’s clear there is no magic spell that could put the Warriors into the RSL.

But they could still play. They can get their team registered and see if the Utah DI league is still open for business (they don’t seem to have started play yet so it’s a possibility).

The Warriors could just come together and try to fulfill their RSL fixtures anyway, as long as those jilted Super League teams are OK with it.

Or, the players themselves could just walk. Only one is registered now, so they can all legally change to other teams.

But if the Warriors are to exist at all, they have to get legal, and soon.
