Johnson Ready to Rock
RUGBYmag Premier - Profiles and Interviews

Will Johnson suiting up for London Welsh. Ian Muir photoDon’t look now but Will Johnson is back and in form.

The former Harvard football player who thrust himself into USA consideration in 2009 hasn’t played for the Eagles since that year. A broken foot, graduate studies at Oxford University, and then a broken hand, kept Johnson on the sidelines.

But he did manage to play enough to earn an Oxford Blue and then sign on with London Irish. This season he has shared time between the London Irish 1st side and 2nd side, and also, through an agreement between the two clubs, he has also played for London Welsh.

It’s all good for Johnson, who was forced off the field just as he was hitting his stride.
