Jamaica Claims 4th Despite Tragedy
International - Olympics

The Jamaican men's 7s team managed to finish 4th at this weekend's NACRA 7s championships despite losing to of their players to a tragic car crash just days before the event.

Xavier Carr and Aldaine Lumsten, both 22, were passengers in a car involved in an accident last Sunday. Both died.

"They were quiet, very respectable, easy-to-be-with guys, the future, very good future for Jamaican rugby, and disciplined players," Conroy Omally, the coach for Jamaica's national rugby team, told the local press. "They got along well with the team, their qualities were both outstanding and they'll be sorely missed."
