We previously reported UCLA had accepted an at-large bid to 7s Nationals, but earlier this week the Bruins informed the College Competitions Committee that they'd not be traveling to College Station, Texas later this month to compete. Middlebury, which finished second in the East Coast Conference 7s Championship, will take the final at-large bid to Nationals.

UCLA joins Virginia Tech in turning down USA Rugby's National Championship but accepting a bid to the Collegiate Rugby Championship. Virginia Tech won an automatic bid at the Atlantic Coast Championship in Virginia Beach, Va.
