Two Very Competitive ACRL 7s Tourneys This Weekend

Sevens - Collegiate Sevens

The Atlantic Coast Rugby League will welcome six teams to Life University’s Life Rugby Complex in Marietta, Ga. Saturday for a college 7s tournament.

Life will enter two teams, while Wake Forest, Florida State, Clemson, and Michigan’s Davenport University will also compete.

Most observers would say this is an enormously competitive tournament. Life is ranked #1 by RUGBYMag.com, and Davenport #11 in RUGBYMag's College 7s Top 25. Florida State is close to the top 25 as well.

The tournament will be a straight round-robin:

Meanwhile, the Atlantic Coast Rugby Series also will make a stop in Maryland at College Park.

Current RUGBYMag #3 Kutztown, along with #10 Delaware, #13 Navy, and honorable mentions Virginia Tech and NC State will face off in an eight-team tournament.
