Aviva Premiership Clubs to be at CRC

Fans and players at the USA 7s Collegiate Rugby Championship will also get to rub shoulders with some of the most famous rugby clubs in the world.

Representatives from all 12 Aviva Premiership clubs will be at the CRC as part of a Premiership Rugby Road Show.

The Aviva Premiership is the top league in England, and where USA players Chris Wyles, Paul Emerick, Samu Manoa, and Chris Biller play. The Road Show is run in partnership with Play Rugby USA, the youth rugby initiative out of New York, and USA Sevens and NBC Sports. Representatives from all 12 teams will be there: Bath, Exeter Chiefs, Gloucester, Harlequins, Leicester, London Wasps (Emerick), London Welsh, Newcastle Falcons, Northampton Saints (Manoa, Biller), Sale, Saracens (Wyles), Worcester Warriors.

The Premiership Rugby Community Coaches will partner up with PRUSA Youth Development Mentors to visit 30 New York City public schools.

Then they will go to Philadelphia and be at the USA 7s CRC June 2-3.

There Premiership Rugby Coaches will scout talent from the 16 university teams and 16 high school boys teams competing in the event.

Fans can participate in a series of exciting initia­tives including Premiership Rugby coaching clinics and combines. Players will get to meet with the Premiership reps, and talk rugby and opportunities within the game.


The combine will be run in conjunction with the College Recruitment and Combine Program, which runs combines for high school players (boys and girls) to show their skills and to meet with college coaches.
