NOVA claimed its first Mid-Atlantic Qualifier championship Saturday in Columbus, Md., beating Schuylkill River in the final. Schuylkill lost star Greg Ambrogi to injury prior to the final.

NOVA was anchored by the play of former Eagle PJ Komongnan, Toshi Palamo and former Kenyan National Team player Dan Weku.

To reach the final, Schuylkill beat Norfolk and NOVA beat host Rocky Gorge. Norfolk forfeited to Gorge in the third-place match.
