Men's DI-AA Top 25, Sept. 17, 2012 |
|
Rankings -
Men DI College

All but one of our ranked teams won last week, and the sole loser, No. 25 Northern Illinois, lost to No. 19 Bowling Green in a shootout. So there's not a lot of change. But NIU does drop from the list, more so because of who we had to include than its loss to Bowling Green.
BYU is part of a newly formed DI-AA conference filled with teams from Utah. The league will not receive an automatic qualifier for the Sweet 16, but BYU is officially in DI-AA and eligible for an at-large berth to the postseason. That makes them eligible for our rankings. We think the Cougars lost enough, compared to what Cal retained, to be kept from No. 1.
