Rankings - Men DI College

It's spring break season, so a lot of teams are not competing at the moment. However, a couple of programs have made some headway in the last week.

Texas clinched the inaugural Southwest Collegiate Rugby Conference championship with a 36-26 defeat of Rice. The Longhorns will represent the new conference in the Sweet 16 later this spring. Wisconsin will provide a good litmus test for the 'Horns when they travel to Austin, Texas during Spring Break April 7th.

Missouri moved one step closer to clinching the Heart of America title and earning a berth to the Sweet 16 by beating Truman State 55-31. The Bulls led 26-5 at halftime, but Missouri scorched them once usual flyhalf Mark Menne, who sat the beginning of the game with a dislocated finger, came on and commandeered the Tiger attack. Mizzou hosts Kansas State and Oklahoma State on April 14 and 15, respectively. Win either, and Mizzou wins the first-ever Heart of American title.
