Paced by tries from Mitchell Fargher and league-leading try-scorer Nate Kimmel, Oregon State University moved to 4-0 in the Northwest Collegiate Rugby Conference with a 17-12 defeat of Eastern Washington.

Eastern drops to 1-2-1 but gains a point for a close loss, while Oregon State remains undefeated, and really only has to be concerned with University of British Columbia overhauling the Beavers through bonus points (OSU has already beaten UBC).

Carl Pitzer hit two conversions and a penalty for Oregon State.
