The playoff teams for the Midwest DI club league are decided as Columbus shocked the Chicago Lions 23-21, and the Milwaukee Barbarians pulled off a bit of an upset over the Detroit Tradesmen 61-38.
Zach Albert, John Kloiber, Mike Reagles, Zach Singsank, Charlie Wagner, and Alex McCray all scored for Milwaukee.
Those victories, couples with losses for the Chicago Blaze and Indianapolis, clinched playoff berths for Columbus and Milwaukee.
Meanwhile the Lions fell behind in the race for 1st seed, as Metropolis and Cincinnati both won. Metropolis won big over the Blaze and the Wolfhounds edged the Chicago Griffins 31-30.
