The Maryland Exiles came back from 7-0 down to defeat NOVA 17-10 in Mid-Atlantic DI club play. NOVA took an early lead with a kick through to the wing, and generally dominated the first half. But in the second half, the Exiles picked it up, hitting the rucks with more enthusiasm and starting to take control of the scrums. Former USA 7s player Eddie Galpin and prop Robert Garvis led the way for Maryland, while Paul Gabriel was named man of the match. This was a big win for Maryland as they moved to 5-0 and are challenging for 1st place. Also winning Saturday were the Pittsburgh Harlequins, 32-24 over Raleigh. The Harlequins are right in it at 4-1. PAC defeated Media this weekend to remain unbeaten at 5-0-1.
