A preliminary schedule of events is coming together for the 2012 USA 7s Collegiate Rugby Championship in Philadelphia in June.
The main tournament will be held at PPL Park in Chester, Pa., on the outskirts of the City of Brotherly Love, but there’s plenty more going on the entire weekend.
The High School Rugby Challenge starts play on Friday, June 1, with 16 boys teams and 8 girls teams from around the nation competing in 7s.
That night, the Fan Kickoff Party is scheduled in the evening.
On June 2, gates open at PPL Park at 8am, with the Block Party starting at 9am featuring music, games, and vendors.
The CRC games finish at 7pm and right after that will be a concert, with the music act to be confirmed, followed by a fan party in Philadelphia.
On Sunday, June 3, stadium gates once again open at 8am, with the competition all day until 6pm (and the Block Party also in full swing).
Another concert is slated for Sunday evening after the games are over, and a fan party later that night in the city.
