Arizona, Colorado to be Televised
Colleges - Men's DI College

Rodger Elkins photoArizona’s match with Colorado Saturday at Infinity Park will be shown in tape delay on ROOT SPORTS (formerly FSN Rocky Mountain) and FSN Arizona. Last time these teams met, October 31, 2009 at Infinity Park, the game was televised on FSN, also. Arizona defeated the then eighth-ranked Buffs. The Wildcats lead the all-time series 5-1.

There are no playoff implications in this one, but both teams are jockeying for league standings and higher rankings, and most importantly, they’re trying to improve.

“The adventure continues for us,” said Arizona coach Dave Sitton. “The scores are misleading. No opponent at the CPD level can be disrespected or discounted. We must improve in the next two matches or the whole season is pointless. There is a responsibility amongst team mates, especially seniors, to finish the race.”

Arizona, 2-3, is ranked 14th coming off a 55-16 victory over the Colorado State Rams. The win ended Arizona’s three-game losing streak.

Colorado, 2-4, are ranked 21st and also looking for back-to-back wins after dropping three straight. CU won its second game of the season last week, 62-17 over Wyoming. Saturday’s match will be Colorado’s third at Infinity Park this season. They’re 1-1 in the Glendale stadium, with a win over Colorado State and a loss to Air Force.
