This is great news. Other teams that are based in cities with MLS teams should do the same or USA Rugby could work a partnership with the MLS to develop a city based league that coincides with the MLS structure. Easier said than done but just a thought.

With access to the Sporting KC training grounds, including weight room, physio room, film room, etc. as well as 3 top notch fields at Swope Park (one turf and two grass) combined with the financial support from Sporting KC, the Blues now have as attractive of a setup as exists in American Rugby... Not to mention the opportunity to play in a $200 Million stadium immediately after MLS games. Would be pretty cool to be able to take the field right after Thiery Henry on October 15th! Between this and now having two national level highschool programs under their umbrella (Jr. Blues and St. Thomas Aquinas), hopefully the Blues will continue to improve on their road back to becoming a true national player once again!
