You should note in articles about Utah that they are not playing as the University of Utah, as they are still on suspension by the school and are rather playing as the Utah Men's Club. So the PAC Conference and Varsity Cup would appear to have a Men's Club in their competition, even if it is technically made up of all Utah college students. I guess there is not anything technically wrong about this-college teams play men's clubs all the time. But there seems to be something fundamentally wrong with a team being suspended by their school and then just carrying on business as usual. Duke lacrosse didn't get to do that back in 2007 or whenever that was that the school shut down their season. I wonder if these guys will all get credit for a "gap year" under the new eligibility rules and get a 6th year of eligibility. Interesting stuff.
