Why should a club bother participating in a competition that, regardless of how well they play, they have no chance of winning? Again, for arguments sake, let's say ORSU knocks off Portland. Being the 8th seed they still can do no better than the 3rd seed. So, where's the reward? We can study this and come up with multiple scenarios that don't make sense. Pac Coast needs to go. Axel, 100% agreed about the CIPP dollars. Please don't get me started about the Grizzlies. Best of luck to all participating clubs.

It's my understanding that the seeding for PAC Coast playoffs are based on the outcomes from the prior year (please correct me if i am wrong). If i'm correct then PNRFU got the number 1 seed based off of what Snake River did & the 7 & 8 seeds because Valley and Pacific Rovers both lost both of their matches? Did the Sunday matches matter last year for teams that lost their first game on Saturday?

Snake river was legit last season! hats off! The complaint is with the pac coast not PNW, PNW plays solid rugby and has some great athletes! I would assume that everyone is just tired of all of the mis-information and guessing! It just sucks that we all care so much and the people in charge seem to screw it up more often then get it right! Good luck to all the teams going to Pac Coast, and nocal, please hit spell check before you comment!! better yet, don’t comment!!!

As a TU, Southern Cal has 7 teams and plays 12 games and gets 2 teams into the Sweet 16 ever year. As an Local Area Union, PNRFU has 10 teams and plays 16 games to get a chance to be in the the Sweet 16. This is only the second season that PNRFU has done a LAU playoffs. I think to cut down on travel costs, PNRFU is more than ready to become a TU and have its own playoffs to send its best team to the sweet 16. Maybe then, PNRFU can start up a select side Loggers team because last I checked the Men's Grizzle side is nonexistent. I would prefer my PAC COAST CIPP money to stay in the Northwest.

like i said, if, like you say, nor cal is so good, they will challenge pnrfu or arizona for their seeds and get them, then we would have to get them back. snake river were 3rd in the country last year, are you claiming boise is in nor cal?

okay PNW rugby guy quit it. If it was not for the PC playoffs no team from the PNW could say we made the playoffs. You have had your channces, beat a team from Nor Cal and your in...You don't have the talent to do it.....So you want into the sweet 16, and get tolled their

Here we go again with the Pac Coast playoffs. For arguments sake let's say that the top two seeds, Portland and Fresno, respectively, win in the first round and advance to the grand final for the Pac Coast #1 and #2 seeds. That leaves everyone else, regardless of how well they play or have been playing, competing for the #3 seed. Bogus. Pac Coast needs to be dismantled.
