Yeah lets add some more coaching staff !! that will pay dividends for the growth of rugby... hang on..... nope, that just makes us more top heavy. USA rugby is still all about the top, riding on the cipp funds of the masses. The USA coaching staff is a world joke, Any increase in performance is from the quality of coaching the overseas players are getting, or from some well run domestic clubs. The fact that so many collegiate players are being considered is a joke. It shows the laziness of the coaching staff in looking at players. The story is the same as always, the usa will get its ass kicked as always, waste a ton of money and repeat process again for the next world cup. USA rugby talks about becoming a tier one nation, but spends all its resources on putting together just a team and not a system or structure developing a tier one union.

SC Rugger, I'd be interested to hear who you think the top 3 loose forwards are in So Cal ahead of Dahl.

Why are we talking about Dahl? yes he's a good player but I would say he's number 3 or 4 in southern cal as far as loose forwards go. He didn't make it, get over it.

How bout we talk about the guys who did make it...like Ryan Chapman from Utah, or Jesse Witkowicki from OMBAC, cause it sure is nice to see some new blood coming through. I would really like to see Chapman in action against international competition. How bout Alec Parker getting invited back at 127 years old. How bout the form Pat Danahy has shown all season for Life. We have some real athletes here, now its time to see who is for real.

USA Rugby needs to wake up and take off their blinders! For somebody like Peter Dahl who has such a passion for the game and work ethic that is second to none to not even be considered for the camp is assinine!

Wow, I can't believe that there is only 1 SFGG SL forward that made this camp, when they have the best defensive & offensive forward pack in the league. I honestly hate how football players are picked in front of rugby players, then you wonder why Rugby in america's progress is slow. How about the loosehead prop Paula Fukofuka from SFGG? Can't believe he is never on the eagles radar. What happened to Danny Laprovette, can't believe he didn't make this camp by the way he plays!
