The Zoomies are working hard to get back to previous levels. I have seen every match, including Utah. The AFA lads are pretty good with a talented volunteer staff and about an hour's practice a day. However, they look for no excuses. Admittedly, it will be tough to overcome teams like Cal & BYU for some time. They have developed into machines with active recruitment. It's good to cheer the good guys who play for the love of the sport. With support from the school and a bit more practice time and the Zoomies can eliminate the small mistakes that cost big against good teams. The Utah loss was still an impressive statement, twice they were within 2 points. They could very well still finish in the CPD top 10 with victories against AZ & ASU. By the way, the Utah pitch was downright dangerous; broken sprinkler heads, sprinkler boxes, holes, uneven surface, try zone dipping two feet below the rest of the field. Wow. At least it was soft ground...

How in the hell can a team score 90+ points if there aren't cripples opposing them? YGBSM! 93-8? In Rugby? I'm an Air Force rugby fan, but this just ain't your year. But I do wish you REALLY good luck in your next match vs BYU!

ouch good point. they also got their clocks cleaned by mighty BYU. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BPY4bxL-Vow But let's agree that if they knock off Utah this weekend that Air Force is officially back? Even if they do, they wont beat a byu or cal or even smc/life/ark st, but after being so-so in the years since their 2003 national championship, they are finally lookin good
