Also, lots in transition leading up to the 2016 Olympics. Hoping for a good showing in 2016 for the US of A, and Al, I know you will help, and have helped make this all happen, and put Rugby on the map in the US. A big fan here...in more ways than one...

Al, thank you for all you did, and the other job situations too. We all know in the family some of the sacrifices you and my sis made, so good on ya! Hopefully with the new $ coming in for 2016, the team will move upward, and YOU were and are a big part of that. So we thanks you!!! Steve

Mike Mid West; Paul Holmes is not good enough to be at that level, he might be a great personal trainer but not an international 7's coach. Just because his part of tiger Rugby doesn't mean it's his game plan. The only reason the Tigers are good is because they get all the ex eagles to play for them and some international stars like Andre Snyman....You might as well give the job to college coaches like Utah, Life, Davenport, Kutztown, Miami of Ohio if you want to bring in Holmes.. Hey let’s throw Paki, Andre Snyman, David Fee, and who ever played a high level in as well. Doesn’t mean that if you played on the international scene you will be a good coach….

The USA 7's team just needs someone with a lot of International 7's experience under his belt. Someone who knows that feeling of being out there on that level and can relate to the team. And that's why I don't think Dave Williams, James Walker, Paul Holmes and all those other domestic names out there will not succeed. I think Serevi is a possible, but I'm sure more big names will be coming in soon because they will all want to be part of USA Rugby especially how fast the game is growing here in the States. We just need to take the best 7's players to compete, I mean guys who knows and reads the game well. Bring back the likes of Nese, Hamilton, Boyd, Sio, Edwards, Pulu, man I can go on with this list. I've seen these boys played and they still got it but maybe I'm wrong. We need guys who are rugby fit, not cross country fit. The bottom line is, we need to win and that's why we're all frustrating. Good luck to our next Coach and USA 7's Rugby!!!

Supposedly $1k/month each. Obviously they get free medical/food at the USOC too. They pay for their apartments and usa rugby paid their security deposits. Who knows if this is correct though because i was also told 15 players were contracted and someone below says only 8... again...no info coming out of chula vista...

Dave Williams will be a good go to guy,he is in the system and has been around this environment for a while to know whats needed to be successful in this competition. We dont need to overhaul the system we just need to modify and update it..Like get players to able to play from outside the box ,change the game plan to match the opposition and not be to predictable....But good luck Al and thank you

The man did some great things for USA 7s, but we need just a little some extra and/or different to get the boys into that "elite" level. Good Luck Al! All the best...
