I guess when Darmouth is finally shown up, they won't have their butts kissed all the time on here. Beating Brown by a whopping 24-17. Indiana has always been a tough team and Miami of Ohio has got the chance to really put their foot forward. I'd back them to be the best test for Davenport. Bowling Green had a good win against Air Force, but the zoomies are nothing like their teams about 6-7 years ago. So giving up 27 is alarming there. The Gamecocks are a good team and super emotional. They need to beat up on those Coastal teams a couple times to warm up for their conference schedule.

@Ohio Rugby Fan, yes Miami of Ohio was a school before Florida was a state. However, as for claiming that Indiana is a "contender", you are right on the money. Word on the street is that Will Pidd is helping with there scrumhalves. Good for you guys, a great addition. As for the Midwest being the toughest division, you may actually be right. With powerhouses like Bowling Green, Nebraska and Northern Iowa you may actually have a compelling argument to make here. And yes, it is common place for the West Coast teams to fall out of the rankings before their real season starts in Spring. It must be tough out there in the Midwest having to deal with snow covered ground and harsh winters. Maybe a reason why you guys are so tough to play, just another point that should be added to making the Midwest the best conference. I beleive you guys should get to send more to nationals and play the final in Lambeau field in december. Maybe then interest with rugby in America will be taken to new heights.

@repefaufau89u8 9 Miami of Ohio was a school before Florida was a state. That's gotta be worth at least a rank or two. Oh yeah, there was also a convincing win over a contender taking them to 2-0 in the toughest division, somewhere in there. You're right, being idle doesn't mean they're irrelevant, but we're also talking about week to week rankings here. To hold onto your relevance in the context of this discussion, you actually have to play and beat teams. It's common practice for the West Coast teams to fall out of the rankings till their season starts or they play some meaningful friendlies.

State dropped out of the top 4? How does that make sense, just because I team remains idle does not mean the team is not still relevant, and yeah where is USD, just because I am an SDSU alum doesnt mean I cant appreciate the work that Andrew Castle has done with the backs, too bad I cannot say the same about the forwards, something is missing and I cant pin point it, viewing their alumni game, they were pushed around, i am interested to see how they compete with UNLV, hopefully the coaching staff can stay focused and make sure the city of San Diego is well represented, we wouldnt want the baby blue to smear the pristine state of SDSU. But back to the point, SDSU not in the top 4, repulsive in every sense of the word how does a school in one state, with the name of another make such a jump? Please give a little more insight, until them i am both unimpressed and not enthused.

Where is USD?!? It's about time the departure of Anton "Megatron" Mirinov from SDSU is finally refelcted in the rankings. There is no way the team will be able to cope with losing such a giant.
