no teams have forfeited to army just because rugby mag does not write articles about the games does not mean they have been forfeits. The only game the Army bside have played was the northeastern game and even then it was because the Aside had played penn state the previous day. Army Aside played Umass first half and the score was 69-0 so bside was put in 2nd half, they played uconn at home and won roughly 75-5, played BU at BU and won 49-0, and just played BC and won roughly 60-7. Army has played every team in the Northeast Conference plus penn state and st. Xavier. Just for clarification.

Just a fun little tidbit of information: NC State WRFC beat UNC 75-15 this past weekend, and gave East Carolina a sound thrashing during the Rucktoberfest Tournament at Appalacian State University. They only lost to the #5 team (UVa) by 4 points. They have a new coach, and some promising new players, so keep an eye out for the WOLFPACK, it would seem they have the potential to challenge ECU and UNC for their top 25 spots.

All of the D1 teams are not forfeiting to Army but are playing Army's B side instead b/c Army's A side has been given free reign to play whichever teams they want. It is instead Army who has chosen not to play the other NERFU D1 teams and not the other way around. BC plays Army B this weekend and BU soon to follow, I think.

Momma's Basement, many of the teams volunteered/ were voluntold to join D1,contingent on Brown joining Ivy, and Army, MARFU. Their end of the bargain wasn't held up. Why risk injury when the rest of the league is a tight race for second. No one's competing for first in NERFU. A good number of D2 teams are better than these d1 teams.. Stonehill, AIC, Norwich... These are the teams that were forced up into d1. Don't blame the teams for what a terribly organized union has led to.

I think it's awful that all the NERFU Div I Women's teams are forfeiting to Army. Looks as though UMASS, Northeastern, and UCONN have all done so. Hopefully BU or BC won't do the same.
