In every generation there is but one man that stands alone atop the heap of the Greatest of All Time. In USA Rugby there is such a man. A man whose legend has grown as swiftly as the Santa Ana winds pass through the valleys of Southern California. He has built up a reputaion as a lion amoungst men. Sometimes players are merely a cog in a machine that is apart of a giant engine room, steaming towards success. This young man is the gaint engine room. There are few words that can describe such a player. His size, stamina and sheer grit are some of his qualities. Only once will fans from around the nation be able to see such a star play the greatest game in the world. Who is this great you might ask? Scott "The Grim Reaper" Brown. It has been confirmed that he will be back in Aztec colors for his senior year and will be suiting up for this saturdays alumni game. His archrival Alex "elfatacabra" Main will have his work cut for him as this is one meal too big for the Cabra to eat.

In the end. SDSU seems like they are bending the rules once again and they have zero championships to show for it. So keep doing what you are doing and you'll consistantly come up empty handed.

Come on. You mean to tell me that a prospective SDSU player has hired an agent. Really? And how old is this guy? 28, with a family? He probably went and played pro in France and is getting paid under the table. An outrage!!

I just off the phone with that source deep inside the Rulon camp. My source tells me that Rulon is on the verge of crossing the picket line. It seems as if the Aztecs, finally have closed the deal. My source revealed that what seemed to change Rulon's mind was that the Aztecs wanted to hone in on Rulon's french backround. They took him to a renowned San Diego French Resturant and served him Foie gras with Crème Brûlée for desert. As always, the "great one", Anton "the enforcer" Mironov was there to persuade Rulon to come back for his senoir year. Rumor has it that Rulon is eager to bring "French Flair" into US Rugby. This is great news for the Aztecs as they now have a genuine playmaker apart of their team.

Don I speak the truth, and one can only hope that the other U20 mexican team show up, although from what I can tell they have not been out at practice... Imagine John Mcclain Cook at the helm with those boys following his every move...WOW!!! Yippie Ki Yaya... watch out college rugby. On another note I could not be more excited to see the idle SDSU boys take on the alumni. It is rumored that suiting up for the black and red will be Anton the "steal curtain" Miranov who is going to be an enforcer out there. From what I hear he has already been heard saying Mike Shea, and Jeff Sparks are in for a long day of pain! I hope rugbymag has an analyst on the scene because this is sure to be a hard hitting and talented showing of what is to come from both the steal curtain and John Mcclain... oh wait don't forget the enchilada! Watch out alumni here comes the future. Bonet, Bonet, and more Bonet!

@DonDorito, as a SDSU alumni I take pride in our ability to recruit, coming from a school that is in dire financial standing our ability to attract the likes of Adrian and Roberto "The Fisherman" Hernandez, who have represented Mexico at the U20 levels just shows the difference in talent level between SDSU and USD, I have nothing against USD, but yes perhaps connecting with nations such as Uganda and Swaziland, may bolster your 15's team. On a side note my personal friend, Ryan "Bowflex" Fitzpatrick has mentioned coach Hawkins asking him to join the staff, all I have to say is what a great pick up, he was a natural born leader on the field and always had great pre game pep talk. A general on the field with one of the best line-out tosses I have ever seen, SDSU has nowhere but up to go from here. Watch the Throne and of course STATE HITS!

You are so wrong - playing against Kutztown, Penn State, Navy & Delaware did nothing to develop the game on their campuses. ACC fans understand sport between ACC schools. Sure the playing standard isn't what it was in the MARFU Premier League, but this league was poorly run and did nothing for any of the teams. The ACRL will be a good league in seasons to come - both on and off the field.

Don Dorito, you hit the nail on the head about state being a hotbed for Mexican U20 talent. However, if they really want to take the next step they have got to utilize the all powerfull, all knowing and one of a kind Jean-Luc Rulon. He was mentioned earlier but negotiations between the two have come to a standtill with the "badger" employing an NFL "Lockout" strategy. Sources within the team have mentioned to me that they have tried everything to get this future eagle back for his senoir year. However, it appears as if Rulon has hired an agent, covertly of course, to try an iron out the problems. An anonymous source deep inside the Rulon camp has told me that Rulon is currently working a sales job in Utah and the BYU cougers have approached him on numorous occasions about transfering. If this is true then SDSU better get their act together and bring this young man, who has a burst of speed like Adrian Peterson and step like William Ryder, back to Montezuma Mesa.

Don Dorito you are right on the money! The return of these mexican super powers of rugby to SDSU will launch the program to the next level. Sure Marco struggled with hands drills, 'witch u left' struggled to knock down the language barrier, and pedro quit a few times, but after much needed siestas in the home land the players are back and frothing at the mouth to boot up! one can only hope that USD and Coach Sparks can not draw these players away with the promise of greener pastures and fast women!

Com' on Sik Racer, you don't mean to tell me Torres is back on the team too?!? Aye aye aye! Well at least State's other former Mexican U20 players Pedro, Jose and Marco aren't still around. Apparently collegiate rugby wasn't a big enough challenge for them after representing Mexico internationally against the likes of Barbados and Cameroon. What has SDSU done to become such a hotbed for Mexico U20 talent? I think USD will need to figure something out in order to compete, perhaps open up a pipeline for Nicaraguan U20 players??? I'm just spit balling here...
