"Give me a break", I think you misunderstood my post (if you are referencing it from the other article). I am all for debate and constructive criticism. My hope is that people, instead of remaining anonymous, would own their opinions, and we can all have a civil debate. Anonymity allows people to forget their manners. I agree that neither England nor Canada sent their top side. I find it unlikely that Pete's experience in the NA4 has not improved him as a coach. So what do you propose as a solution, or a next step, moving forward? What will help the women eagles compete with the best in the world?

the problem with the ladies games never being televised is that the public has no idea what is going on. we rely on the coaches to tell us. I was at the last game to and this is a fictional tale of their performance. I read an article that many of canadas top ladies players are boycotting because of financial issues, and lets not lie england sent a a- team. any time anyone criticises the lady eagles we are told to shut up and be supportive. well the coaches are responsible to the public and we have a right to have an opinion. They peaked in the second half? They survived. Steinberg didnt learn anything from his disasterous performance at na4, get rid of all the pyschobabble and the ladies play rugby as they are our best hope for a world cup.
