Good idea - give me any other serious sport where a team / club (whatever) can have 2 teams in a National or League playoff? Face it - your best guys play for your top team and those that don't make the squad either cheer in the stands or read about it. Crap like this -having 2 sides from the same club in a playoff compromises rugby being viewed as a real sport by the outside sports viewing public!

A club could form a second Sevens only club and qualify two teams, one from the original club and one from the Sevens only club. Players can transfer from the original club to the Sevens Club and back to the original club after Sevens season. Both teams could have the same coach and train together.
