Nate Ebner is a scary madman on the pitch! He is just plain fun to watch. He has the ability to explode at any given moment. I hope he would skip football and start thinking about the USA rugby squad. Also, I hope he graduates this year, I hate to see him play against my team next year.

I was really impressed with Brakely. His work on the restarts might have been what won the tournament for Dartmouth. He also didn't seem to be a liability on defense and provided a little power when needed. A player like him is needed on every team.

Would love to see Ebner drop football and come back to rugby full time. Oh and good luck to Thretton, but I hope he comes back to rugby as well. In both 7s and 15s.

Brakely plays for Dartmouth. He was very effective at regaining possession on restart kicks and moved and passed very well for a big guy.

Any team that wanted to could have gone to Vegas and played their way in like CWU did. This is the only national collegiate 7s tournament that I know of, so the winner is the national collegiate 7s champion in my book. Maybe Arkansas St., Life, and the others who didn't get invited can complain to the Federal government about antitrust violations like the State of Utah is with the BCS. That will bring us one more step closer to the mainstream!

In my humble opinion, there were only two players participating in the tournament that have any chance at participating in the 2016 Olympics (Scully and Tiberio). And both are probably long shots. Five years is a long time. As for the team James Brown says would be "internationally competitive" - wow. If you count losing by 50 competitive, then okay. International 7s sides would blister that team with pure speed. I congratulate all of the named players on a great tournament, but standing out against the competition in PA doesn't necessarily translate into being competitive at the highest level. Not trying to rain on anyone's parade or be negative, just being realistic.

did anyone else thinkg it was funny when they kept saying that Utah winger (forget his name) is only a freshman! like he's some young phenomenon - but then he's a 22 year old freshman! he'll be pushing 30 when he graudates =)

Nice thing about Pati is that he's a real quality kid. Have met him a few times both on the field and away from it and he's always impressed me as both a fierce competitor and good guy. He should do well for the US in 7s and maybe even 15s.
