A&M Secures Big Win over Longhorns
Colleges - College DI-A

Texas A&M moved to 3-0 with a convincing 44-17 victory over previously-unbeaten Texas Friday night in Austin.

The two teams were both 2-0 going into this Allied Rugby Conference matchup, with Texas having beaten Oklahoma and Texas Tech by very thin margins, and A&M having beaten Baylor and Sam Houston State by large margins.

It was more Aggie offense on Friday. A&M ran out to a 29-0 hafltime lead with tries from fullback Dylan Starks, lock forward Phil Hanson, hooker Andres Diaz, wing Matt Krath, and scrumhalf Matt Theodore, with two conversions from flyhalf Connor Mills.

Hanson scored his second in the second half and Mills added the conversion and then a penalty a few minutes later. It wasn't until the last quarter of the match that the Longhorns got on the scoreboard, with Danny Cotton touching down. Starks answered with his second before Taylor Hayes and Greg Hesch scored late.
