 A third conference began DI-A play this weekend, with Life and Davenport playing in the Mid-South opener. Life took down the Panthers 53-0 (More Details).
Allied play continued, and Texas pulled off its second-straight thriller, this one 27-22 over Texas Tech (More details). Texas A&M and Oklahoma rolled to easy wins. In California, all the favorites scored bonus-point wins, as Cal Poly and St. Mary's continued on a crash course toward the de facto conference championship game Saturday in San Luis Obispo, Calif.
