Arkansas State Slams A&M
Colleges - College DI-A

Arkansas State opened their 2013 campaign with a 70-7 victory over Texas A&M in a friendly between two DI-A teams.

The Red Wolves opened the scoring earlier with a Sean Linfield penalty, but the tries soon came. Flanker Kirk Pretorius notched the first one, and then Paxton Van Baber, Gavin Brown, and Nick Thompson soon made it 27-0.

Dean Gericke's try put the score at 32-0 Arkansas State at halftime, and the center added another early in the second half to make it 39-0. Brown scored his second on the wing, and a penalty made it 53-0.

A&M scored their only try, on an interception, and then it was more Red Wolves, as Dylan Carrion, Gericke again, and Shaun Potgeiter all touched down.
