What's on Tap in DI-AA This Weekend
Colleges - College DI-A

There are few big match-ups this week in DI-AA, but plenty of games. The one with the most in it is Middle Tennessee State (3-3) against Georgia Southern (2-3). The winner keeps pace with Kennesaw State for second in the South Independent-North and a conference semifinal berth. The loser is likely eliminated from contention.

In the Atlantic Coast Rugby League, Virginia and Wake Forest meet in a game that should be telling. The Cavaliers are 1-0, but their sole win came against Georgia Tech on St. Patrick’s Day. The Rambling Wreck seems destined for the league floor, so not much can be gleaned from that result. Wake Forest, 1-1, should be a considerably stiffer test.

If 2-2 Ole Miss can pull off a massive upset of division-leading LSU in Baton Rouge Saturday, it’ll turn the Southeastern playoff picture on its head. If the Rebels lose, it should make for a tight race between them and Alabama for second in the West and a playoff berth.

The upset alert should be on for Florida. The Gators clinched second in its division last week and travel to Columbia, SC Saturday. The Gamecocks are eliminated from the playoff hunt, but could be eager to take Florida’s scalp.

Missouri should be on alert, too, as they take on Truman State. The young Bulls fell to Arkansas by just six points last week, and appear to be improving as the season progresses.
