Virginia RFU DIII college champs Longwood University defeated Potomac RFU champions Mount St. Mary's College 48-25 to earn a place in the NSCRO Men's Division 3 Region 3 Championship match.

The USA Rugby South held its Division 3 Men's Collegiate Championships in Mobile, Alabama with the following results:

University of West Florida 22 - Sewanee (The University of the South) 19
Furman University 22 - UNC Charlotte 13

Final
University of West Florida 46 - Furman University 11

West Florida earns a place in the Region 3 Championship match.

Meanhwhile, as reported on RUGBYMag.com, Occidental defeated St. Edward's 28-20 in the final of the first West regional playoffs in the NSCRO.

The NSCRO Championships will be held April 30 and May 1 in Virginia Beach at the Virginia Beach Sportsplex. Occidental is already into those semis, along with Salve Regina. Occidental will play this weekend's winner of College of New Jersey and Ithaca College, while Salve Regina will take on the winner of the West Florida v. Longwood to be played April 16.
