Washington Community Mourns Loss of Coach
School Age - Boys

Longtime Valley Kangaroos and Tacoma Tsunamis U19 coach Jeff Hunter passed away last week after a long battle with brain cancer.

Hunter’s family has set up a scholarship fund in his name. The Jeff Hunter Memorial Scholarship is intended to help young rugby players in their pursuit of higher education, and has been created to commemorate the passion, generosity, and commitment that Jeff brought to his rugby teams, his friends and his family.

Jeff's family with be having an informal memorial for Jeff this Saturday August 27, with an open house at the High Cedars Golf Course in Orting, Wash. 1pm-5pm.

In lieu flowers, people are asked to donate to the scholarship fund.
