U19 Rankings May 25 2011
Rankings - Boys U19

Dobson ImagesThis is most likely the final U19 Rankings for 2010-2011. Some teams are still active, and should something very surprising happen, we might submit another rankings, but this is likely the last one.

The National Championships gave us a good look at how some regional champions measure up against top teams from other regions. What struck us was the run of United from Utah. They had five games in which it was either win or give up on thoughts of a national championship. The only game they lost was the last one, in the final against Highland.

In the other four games, they won by 7,7,2 and 9. What that tells us is, United has plenty of fortitude, and the teams they played are pretty good, too.

Highland is clearly the best team in the country. Colorado Springs is, just as clearly, the second-best. Naples … just think if they had kicked one penalty, where would we put them?

The performance of various regions also pulls up or down teams they have played. West Shore United’s difficult nationals brings down other teams from MARFU. All those teams close in the Pacific Coast move up a little.
