| Asbun to Play for Wasps 7s Team |
| International - Americans Overseas |

Senior squad players Sam Jones, Chris Mayor, Jack Wallace and Matt Everard provide plenty of experience to the group. Academy youngsters Liam O’Neil, Will Robinson, Mitchell Tamiau and Jonah Holmes are all included, with that quartet hoping to impress on a big stage at this early stage of the season; while making the step up from the London Wasps AASE set-up is Jono Woodward. Also in the squad are three guest players from clubs with strong links to London Wasps. USA international Derek Asbun, who captained Cal before pursuing graduate studies at Oxford, where he has earned a Blue, is named alongside his Oxford teammate Sean Morris, while Dan Wells represents Henley. London Wasps High Performance Manager James Wade said: “This is a young squad but we’ve got some strong first team senior squad experience in there. The J.P Morgan 7s is a great chance for some of our youngsters to have a go at expressing themselves on a big stage and showing the coaches what they can do ahead of the season.” This could well be a test step-out for Asbun to show his abilities and versatility against pro competition.
