Saracens won their LV=Cup match 43-20 over the Exeter Chiefs, with Hayden Smith starting at lock.

Leeds won their third in a row, 28-23 over Plymouth. Mike MacDonald started at prop.

Samu Manoa was inspirational coming off the bench in Northampton’s LV=Cup win over the Ospreys.

Shawn Pittman came on as a sub at prop for London Welsh in their 35-33 loss to Bristol.

The Cornish Pirates beat Esher 34-18. Andrew Suniula made his debut for the Pirates, coming on in the second half at center.

Taku Ngwenya and Biarritz tied Lyon 15-15. Scott LaValla started at lock for Stade Francais, as the Paris club lost 37-13 to  Agen. Kevin Swiryn did not play for Agen. Seta Tuilevuka did not play for Montpellier, who lost.

Perigueux lost 39-7 to Carcassonne in France’s Pro D2. Inaki Basauri did not play.
